We are currently looking for an individual to fill the spot of CAD Designer in our Engineering Department.

Job Description: Works closely with the Design and Manufacturing Team to develop and finalize product documentation for existing and newly developed products.

*Creates sheet metal fabrication drawings, finish drawings, cabling drawings, specification and source control drawings and assembly drawings from 3D modeling software.
*Updates and generates wire diagrams.
*Creates and modifies Bills of Materials (BOM'S.
*Works with Sales team to develop End Item BOM's.
*Reviews drawings and BOM's for accuracy and completeness.
*Helps develop and document methods for process improvement and control.

Qualifications:

*3 year experience in an engineering support role with emphasis on modeling and BOM development.
*Good knowledge of drafting standards for electrical and mechanical assemblies.
*3D modeling experience in one of the following: Solidworks, Solid Edge, Autodesk Inventor.
*Experience with writing ECO's using PLM software.
*Microsoft office required, Access experience a plus
*Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
