Job Description:
*Assist engineers in the construction and testing of development prototypes.
*Able to setup, perform and document experiments under the direction of engineering personnel.
*Review pre-production prototypes using supplied mechanical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams to check for proper construction and operation.
*Ability to modify existing production enclosures for custom applications.
*Troubleshooting analog and digital circuits in addition to electro-mechanical assemblies.
*Must be capable of soldering and reworking fine pitch SMT circuit components.
*Use of lab equipment including personal computers, digital oscilloscopes, precision meters and power supplies required to perform testing duties.
*Maintain and organize the engineering lab and engineering inventory as instructed by designated engineering personnel.
Qualifications:
*Minimum (2) years work related experience
*Formal electronics training desired but not a requirement based on applicable experience.
*Good communications skills
*Familiar with analog and digital circuits
*Ability to work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and follow repair procedures is required.
*ISO 9000 exposure a plus
