POSITION SUMMARY <br>
Under the direction of the Team In Training (TNT)  Director at the Sacramento chapter, the Campaign Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing TNT run, walk, cycle and triathlon programs, in Reno. The Campaign Coordinator works with LLS staff, volunteers and coaches to support our mission to cure blood cancers. The Campaign Coordinator is responsible for cultivating relationships with alumni, volunteers and businesses and building a donor and volunteer base that achieves revenue goals and enhances public awareness. This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week. <br>
<br>
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS <br>
• implement, monitor, execute and evaluate all program activities including fundraising and logistic plan <br>
• Develop and execute fundraising and marketing plan based on LLS guidelines to achieve revenue goal while managing expense budget <br>
•  Coordinate volunteer participation and provide staff support to volunteer participants<br>
• Coordinate and oversee marketing efforts for TNT (social networking, newsletters, mailings, phone calls and emails) <br>
<br>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/DEGREE REQUIRED/DESIRED, AND EXPERIENCE <br>
• Bachelors degree preferred <br>
• Familiarity with event fundraising strategies <br>
• Experience with volunteer development and management, public relations, donor cultivation and relations, corporate sponsor cultivation and relations <br>
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, e-mail, internet <br>
• Knowledge of various mailing procedures and distribution of large amounts of materials <br>
• Familiarity with legal issues such as insurance, permits, waivers, etc. <br>
• Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers at different levels of expertise <br>
• Ability to understand and work with budgets <br>
• Ability to work with diverse communities and demonstrate inclusion <br>
• Ability to travel occasionally throughout the Chapter Area <br>
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills <br>
• Excellent organizational skills <br>
• Must be willing to work outside of office hours, some weekends <br>

B.	Experience:  A minimum of one (1) year experience in counseling or related field is preferred, preferably one of which is in drug/alcohol counseling. Experience working in residential/transitional living environment preferred.  Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. <br>
C.	Knowledge and Abilities:  Knowledge related to basic counseling techniques and familiarity of addiction/alcoholism and issues associated. Possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, supervisors, and co-workers. Knowledge of and ability to effectively use computers.  Ability to act independently with good judgment. Valid driver’s license is required.  <br>

POSITION SUMMARY<br>

Under the direction of the Director of Special Events and the Regional Director, the Special Events Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Memory Walk, the annual signature fundraising event in Reno. The Special Events Manager works with Association staff, volunteer leadership and the Memory Walk Committee to champion the Association’s mission and enhance the culture of diversity, advocacy and fund development.  Additionally, the Special Events Manager is responsible for cultivating relationships with corporations to secure corporate funding and building a donor and volunteer base that achieves revenue goals and enhances public awareness. This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week. <br>

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<br>

•	Design, implement, monitor, execute and evaluate all event activities including fundraising and logistic plan<br>
•	Develop and execute fundraising and marketing plan that secures Memory Walk Corporate Sponsorship and Team and Walker revenue while managing expense budget<br>
•	Ensures smooth integration of National Association and Chapter standards and guidelines<br>
•	Coordinate Reno Memory Walk volunteer participation, provide staff support to key volunteers and volunteer committee<br>
•	Coordinate and oversee marketing efforts for Memory Walk (content for newsletter and participant mailings, fielding calls and inquiries from Media)<br>

* Coordinating the day-to-day operation of a large portion of the statewide signature drive, which will include: recruiting, training, and managing petition circulators; ensuring a high overall validity rate of signatures collected; attending and running signature turn-in events, where circulators will return completed petitions; and keeping track of all signatures submitted and overseeing payments to circulators<br>

* Representing the campaign in a professional manner and ensuring circulators to do the same.<br>

* Networking with elected officials and community leaders in order to build a coalition of support for the campaign<br>

* Building an online and offline grassroots base of support for the campaign <br>

* Recruiting and managing campaign volunteers for campaign work<br>

The Northern Nevada Field Coordinator reports to MPP-NV’s Campaign Manager.<br>

Qualifications<br>
<br>
Candidates should be highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail; get along well with a wide range of people; and be able to work weekends and occasional long hours.<br>
<br>
Experience with training others, grassroots organizing, working on a signature drive or political campaign, and successfully networking with elected officials and building coalitions are significant pluses, but not required.<br>

Compensation<br>

A qualified candidate should possess strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, and complete all required paperwork to maintain tracking system of client’s progress.<br>

Must possess emotional maturity and stability and be able to model non-violent behavior in resolving conflicts and exercise appropriate boundaries.
