Every first Friday there is an art crawl and all the galleries open up and the street in front of my building becomes a street fair. Its very community oriented and lively! I am right around the corner from Lake Merrit and Whole Foods and the Fox Theatre has great shows and is also walking distance. There are great coffee shops right next door as well as restaurants walking distance to the building. BART is only a couple blocks away for commuting to San Francisco or other areas in the Bay Area. I am thinking this may be a good opportunity to swap for a weekend or a couple days vacation swap.
