I have a vintage reprint of a Lithograph by Courier and Ives from 1863. This is mounted under glass. WINTER IN THE COUNTRY-Getting Ice- This is another of Durrie's beautiful paintings-one of a series in which he portrayed American life in the country, particularly in the winter. A popular and rare print, having been valued at one time at $1,000. Published by Currier and Ives in 1864. Bottom off the prints reds "Entered According to Act of Congress in the year 1863 by Currier and Ives, in the Clerks Office of the District Court Of there United States for the Sourthern District of New York". A nice addition to anyone's collection and at a reasonable price.
