Offered is one Vintage English Civil War Lobster Tail Pot Helmet. Features single piece metal skull with six radiating ribs, broad hinged visor with pointed peak and turned edge, four lame articulated tail or "lobster tail" with turned edge and domed rivets, and hinged cheek pieces with seven holes. Comes with original coated fiber liner with ties. Unknown origin.

Excellent vintage condition with expected wear consistent with its age including a few dents, and some oxidation and light rust. Missing nose guard.
