Matched pair Edwardian/Progressive Era identical Art Nouveau hat pins made by Nussbaum and Hunold - a very rare estate find!
They are not reproductions or vintage pieces, they are genuine fine sterling silver antiques between 97 and 114 years old.
They are clearly signed "N&H" and marked "Sterling" two times on each piece.
N&H stands for Nussbaum and (Walter) Hunold of Province, Rhode Island, silversmiths that operated from 1903 to 1920 (when the partnership dissolved). They are well known by collectors for their fine .925 tatting shuttles. The last photo is the same mark on one of their shuttles.
They have a lovely flower, with foliage design on the tops as shown.
They measure 7-7 1/16" long from tip to tip. The tops are 1" tall x 1/2" wide.
Condition Notes; Both are straight(!), and the tops are on tight. They have tarnish/marks from age and are as found/pictured (it appears that someone at some point might have polished one a bit, but this is how I acquired them).
