Craftsman-Style Web Dev: Careful Repairs, Deep Dives, No Band-Aids (Northern Nevada)

In a quiet corner of Northern Nevada there's a small workshop where code gets shaped the way makers shape wood: patiently and carefully. I've been tinkering with computers since the days when an Apple IIe was a big deal and dinosaurs probably needed tech support.
That's Wacky Eagle Technologies.
I'm Scott — web developer, digital craftsman, and long-time caretaker of websites that need more than quick patch jobs. My canine supervisor Jack keeps watch from atop a stack of server manuals, occasionally offering moral support or judgmental squints.
If your website is slow, broken, messy, outdated, or just plain fighting you, that's the sort of puzzle that usually ends up on my workbench.
I spend most of my time working with things like:
