Kayak Tahoe has 4 locations (rental sites) in and around the South Lake Tahoe area and West Shore, in both California and Nevada. Locations are Nevada Beach, Pope Beach, Baldwin Beach and Emerald Bay. All locations and operations are close to the water, by the lake. Employees are typically scheduled at all 4 locations throughout the season, rotating through all or most of the 4 locations on a daily basis. Employees need to be self-reliant and get themselves to and from all 4 locations for work.

Kayak Tahoe strives to give exceptional and safe Customer Service.

Kayak Tahoe will open the Emerald Bay, Baldwin Beach and Pope Beach locations Saturday May 25 2024. The Nevada Beach location will open later in June. Kayak Tahoe asks all employees to be committed to work throughout the summer season until at least Labor Day, Monday September 2nd, including the July 4th holiday period. There are some exceptions to working till Labor Day for applicants who are returning to school prior to Labor Day. Employees can work after Labor Day if work is available. Limited time off during the season may be permissible. If approved, employees are responsible for following correct procedure to get their shifts covered. Specific closing dates vary by location, approximately the middle of September till early October.

Applicants need to provide proof of legal right to work in the USA.

Applicants need to be able to swim unassisted in water where your feet cannot touch the bottom of the water area.

Applicants need to provide a resume including professional references from current or previous supervisors or managers.

Applicants and employees need to confirm they can meet, understand and are able to perform the Employment Requirements and Job Description.

Employees are required to be punctual for all scheduled shifts and are expected to perform consistently at the required work standard throughout the season.

Kayak Tahoe employees need to complete State Mandated Sexual Harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention Training and any other mandated training.

Kayak Tahoe employees are not permitted to smoke, vape, or use E-cigarettes while at work or while wearing any Kayak Tahoe uniform piece.

Kayak Tahoe is a drug, alcohol, violence, discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, abusive conduct and retaliation free workplace.
