I’m a long-time Truckee business owner looking to establish an ongoing relationship with a local, reliable, and highly competent mechanic. I currently have a solid and dependable mechanic, but they are farther away than ideal, so I’m looking for someone closer to Truckee/North Tahoe for faster logistics and ongoing support.
I’m open to someone with their own shop, home garage, or a mobile mechanic based in Truckee or North Tahoe.
I manage a small fleet and need someone who can handle regular maintenance, diagnostics, and urgent repairs. Vehicles include:
1996 Chevy Astro
2000 Chevy Astro
2019 Ram ProMaster 3500
2005 Toyota 4Runner
GMC Sierra 2500
2006 Chevy Silverado
These vehicles are used for business, so they experience a range of mechanical issues throughout the year. I need a mechanic who is:
Responsible and reliable
Experienced with domestic and Japanese vehicles
Capable of addressing issues quickly when needed (brakes, oil changes, suspension, front-end work, power steering, transmission, engine problems, diagnostics, etc.)
Able to provide solid references
