Having sold my acre plus and moving to a city subdivision I cannot use the hex beam I was building up. according to the G3TXQ recipe. The fiberglass kit is from DXengineering which included the tubing, various clamps and rope. The wires are 1/16” stainless aircraft wire already cut to length. The center section is complete and is mounted on a custom made 3/16” aluminum plate with 3d printed saddle clamps. They didn’t come from DXE.
The antenna works 10, 12, 15, 17 and 20 meters. You can add 6m if you wish but I don’t work 6 and didnt make up the antenna wire.
On the base of the center section is I believe a 1 1/4” threaded pipe flange.
I have the DXE instructions and the G3TXQ info. It just needs assembly and will fit in any car to transport to your home. Assembled its at 22 foot diameter.
