Digital scale displays the nugget as 3.2 grams, but to be safe I listed it as a 3.1 gram nugget. Better safe than hear a complaint :-)
In holding it, it is about the size of 1-1/2 green peas.
I'll hopefully replenish my collection and more with my new Minelab Gold Monster 1000 and Minelab Pin Pointer. If you add $100 I'll also send my BRAND NEW Garrett Pin Pointer with extra rechargeable battery and charger, custom holster and extra battery holder molded into the holster... never worry about spare battery in the field. I also added silicone adhesive to the battery compartment lid to made is very easy to spin off, rather than hard smooth plastic the factory made.
I don't need the Garrett Pin Pointer anymore since I bought the Minelab. I think this one is one of two Garretts I had and this one never used. Bright orange.
Or NOT pay an extra $100 and just be happy buying the 3.1 gram gold nugget. See photos for how nice and rounded the edges are.
