Otherwise known as "ice cream bananas".
This is described by chefs as the world's finest banana, totally edible the "hand"blooms into blue bananas, but they taste like vanilla ice cream. Rare tree.
Bought these as small pups, been growing them into maturity for four years now. They are ready to fruit this year, and with the right care should fruit every year after this at least once.
Including a link so you could see the original price of a 1ft tree, priced at $64.
There are now two trees coming out of each corm (or pot). So this is actually 4 banana trees in 2 pots.
They have been well loved, fed organic food, I bring them in in the winter and they stay out in the summer. They are hungry and thirsty plants, but what they put out is pure decadence. Also wildly decorative and gorgeous. They are total vibe.
I'm brokenhearted to part ways with them, but we have to move and they're just not something that can travel.
