This very detailed frame is molded plastic. This is a heavy piece with thick frame. Many patterns, scrolls and textured raised areas. Some areas more burnished hold, some reddish brown showing in areas. We have only used leaning on buffet and fireplace. Has two hooks on back. Could be moved to hang horizontal or vertically.
