This is one of THREE rings (ring sets I bought my ex) I guess I didn't know her style. The most expensive one I just sold here on Craig's List for $2,000. It was a Neil Lane. You may have seen it over the past two months here. The guy was very happy, and even the Jeweler was impressed, so that made him even more happy. I was happy for him to get such a nice ring for his fiancee.
Now I have two others left to sell, this one and one other single ring, not a set like this one. The photo is the best I can do with my cell phone. Much nicer looking in person.
This wedding/engagement SET is PRINCESS cut .33 point (1/3 carat) center diamond, surrounded by "10" - .8 point CHANNEL MOUNT (safest diamond mounting) FULL CUT / BRILLIANT CUT diamonds. This is just the one main band. Then you get the SECOND matching band with "12" channel mounted FULL CUT / BRILLIANT CUT diamonds.
Just so you know. Single cut diamonds have 17 facets/cuts. They're not that great in sparkle or value. These Full Cut diamonds have 58 facets/cuts, which makes for much more brilliant light and rainbow reflection, and full cut diamonds are 5x the value of single cut diamonds. The PRINCESS CUT here in the center has up to 177 facets/cuts, making it the most prized or expensive of diamond cuts.
This Princess Cut has one inclusion (natural imperfection) on the left side which is barely noticeable unless you use a jeweler's loupe or magnifying glass, which I have some nice lighted ones you can use to see up close. If the inclusion was not there, this ring would be worth 3x.
I'm selling it for half of what I paid, and I'm very knowledgeable and a pretty good negotiator. You save the headache of driving around, wasting gas and time, and paying tax at 7.75% and having all the jewelers pressuring you to upsell and spend more so they make a bigger commission.
You WILL save more than $1,000 with this ring SET, regardless if you buy at a major jeweler on sale or a pawn shop ring of equal value.
The gold is more white gold than yellow gold, but has a slight yellow tint. It could use a polishing which would make it look MAGNIFICENT... and most jewelers do this service for FREE, in hopes you buy from them in the future. Polishing only takes about 10 minutes.
I don't know the size, but that makes no difference because it only costs about $50 to size it up or down. I'll knock that off the price shown here.
Call and we can meet at a jewelry store downtown Reno, or, if you know your diamonds and gold, I have test kits for gold and diamonds (I'll even teach you how to use them for your future knowledge) here at my home, to which I use them even when buying in Jared or Zales. If they don't like it... tuff. I test everything, even money given to me at Wells Fargo bank.
