Working Foreman
Salary: Base salary starting at $80,000 annually, with quarterly performance bonuses based on
project success and productivity. Top performers can earn $100,000+ per year.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
About the Role
Donovan Contracting is seeking an experienced and motivated Working Foreman to lead and oversee
multiple construction projects. Our work primarily consists of multi-unit repairs, property upgrades,
and commercial remodel projects. We specialize in renovation and improvement work and do not
perform ground-up or new construction.
This position requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in the field while managing crews,
coordinating project logistics, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high
standard of quality. The Working Foreman plays a key role in maintaining project timelines, controlling
costs, and ensuring strong communication between the field and office teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage multiple job sites while supervising field crews
• Coordinate daily with office staff regarding scheduling, materials, and project updates
• Monitor project progress to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to plans
• Maintain project budgets, timelines, and productivity goals
• Ensure crews follow company procedures and safety practices
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
• Serve as a professional point of contact for clients while projects are in progress
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in construction trades
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience required
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency (email, Excel, scheduling or project software)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a background check
