Green Envy, Inc. on behalf of Tahoe Tree Company is seeking motivated individuals to assist with wholesale and retail nursery needs. Tahoe Tree Company is the largest Wholesale and Retail nursery in the greater Tahoe and Truckee region and is located in Loomis, CA and Tahoe City, CA. Multiple positions are available and hours are flexible. This position is responsible for collaborating with other Tahoe Tree Company nursery staff, plant and tree irrigation and watering, plant propagation, plant and tree organization, and plant material deliveries and inventory. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. There are a number of part or full-time seasonal benefits to this position.
Nursery Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Communicate with other staff and managers about daily tasks
• Monitor weather conditions and pay special attention to hot or cold temperatures
• Monitor plants and water requirements of specific types of plants and trees
• Propagation of wholesale plant material in both locations
Requirements of Nursery Staff:
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Willing and able to work outside
• Responsible and punctual
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
