The leaves are changing colors, the air is crisp and lake Tahoe is ready for its first snowfall of the season. With winter just around the corner it's time to knock the dust and rust off your skis and get them tuned up in anticipation of the of ski season. It can be a little more challenging to knock the rust off our skiing skills but fortunately there's a solution. A ski lesson is the perfect way to tune up your skiing skills and help you reach your skiing goals. Whether you're a life long skier who wants to improve in the bumps and steeps or it's your first time and you want to safely learn the basic fundamentals of skiing in a safe environment, I can help. I customize all my lessons to fit each person's preferred learning style to make these new ideas and concepts as palletable as possible. My goal for you is that the experience is fun, safe and makes you a better skier. Not a bandaid fix but something that you can take with you your entire life and build upon. I've been a professional ski instructor for 20 years, hold a p.s.i.a, alpine level 3 certification, a children's specialist accreditation level 2, and have developed tactics and methods for teaching people of all ages. From biomechanical explanations of how the varying forces affect the body through the different stages of a turn, to creating fantastic worlds through play and imagination, designed to engage young children. My goal is that everyone who skis with me, regardless of age or ability, leaves the lesson with a smile on their face and a feeling of accomplishment in their mind. Book a lesson with me and let's make this the best ski season you or your family has ever had.
