A Reno-based CEO managing two companies — a legal operations firm and a marketing agency — is hiring a right-hand assistant. The role is split between executive support and content/social media work on the marketing side of the business.
This isn't a traditional Executive Assistant role. The hire is for trajectory and work ethic, not for a polished resume. The position is a strong fit for two types of people:
Someone earlier in their career who's sharp, organized, and wants to be trained by an operator who'll actually invest in their growth, or
An experienced professional returning to work after an extended break — parenting, caregiving, sabbatical — who wants to refresh current-market skills and step back into something meaningful.
Executive support duties:
Calendar management, inbox triage, and travel coordination
Drafting professional emails and summarizing documents and meetings
Coordinating with staff across both companies (Monday.com, Google Workspace)
Travel to the Sacramento metro 1–2 times per month for 2–5 days at a time. Not required for personal assistant role, but for marketing may be required.
Content and social duties (marketing side):
Video editing in CapCut and OpusClip
Posting and scheduling content across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Contributing content ideas and creative direction
Optionally helping coordinate and capture original content (shoots, B-roll, interviews)
Marketing relating to Legal / Water Sports / Motor Sports / Alcohol Sampling
Requirements:
Reno-based with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Strong written communication — clear, concise, professional
Comfortable with technology and willing to learn quickly
Reliable, organized, proactive
Available to travel to California as described
Nice to have:
Experience with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Make.com, or any automation platform)
Prior video editing, social media management, or legal marketing experience
The arrangement:
$18–25/hr DOE, with a clear path to higher pay as you take on more
1099 contractor, starting at 20 hrs/week with a clear path to full-time, ok with full-time for the right candidate.
