Responsibilities
• Set up and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes to produce parts to specification
• Load programs, set offsets, and make minor adjustments to maintain part quality
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping to keep equipment and work area clean
• Communicate with the Shop Foreman regarding job status, tooling needs, and any quality concerns
Requirements
• Experience operating Haas CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and tape measure
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality parts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
PREFERRED: Prior experience in a job shop or production machining environment is a plus but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate
