MOUNTAIN DULCIMER Warren May Kentucky Special Dulcimer. I have had this for a couple years and selling because I bought another dulcimer. It is an hourglass shape and has a scroll head. 4 string (one string can be removed to make playing easier) DAD tuning. Solid Walnut and much of Warrens wood comes from his own woodlot. It is a Warren May, "Special Model". Excellent condition. VSL is 26 inches. Overall length is 34" 6 1/2 fret. It has a soft case and I have extra sets of strings. Warren May lives in Berea, Kentucky and has been making dulcimers since 1972. Here is his website www.warrenamay.com where you can find out more about Warren.
