Hello. Up for sale is a pretty nice 1976 Martin D-28 guitar.
This guitar is in very good condition and plays and sounds good. It doesn't have any cracks or damage and comes with the original blue plastic hardshell case.
As you can see in the photos the guitar has the normal aged look of a 1970s Martin. The rosewood is pretty nice on this guitar. There isn't much wear to the finish anywhere from playing. The guitar has normal scratches and dings but no cracks. It doesn't even have the pickguard crack.
There is light normal fret and fingerboard wear. The action is moderate height and the saddle is fairly low.
The neck has not been reset. The action height at the 12th fret for the low E string is 2.5mm or about 7/64".
The guitar has a bridge saddle pickup installed with an end pin jack. The neck has normal relief.
The binding is not damaged or shrinking. The pickguard is lifting slightly on the large end. There is some slight warping there of the pickguard.
The nut and tuning keys are in nice condition. The guitar is in the 386k serial number range for 1976.
