This is a 1992 Guild X-500 Archtop, all original, Pre Fender Guild. I'm listing its condition conservatively as "excellent" but I believe it would be more accurate to call it "near mint." Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.

Guild X-500 Spruce Top with AAA Flame Maple body in Sunburst finish build in Westerly, Rhode Island in 1992 with molded hardshell case. This guitar features a hollow a stunning double bound AAA flamed maple back and sides body with a spruce top, 5-piece AAA Flame maple/walnut neck and bound ebony fingerboard. Equipped with a set of original gold covered Guild HB1 humbuckers in the neck position and bridge position, They quit using these pickups later on and these are the ones to have, the HB1 Pickups are fantastic, the Jazz and Blues guys prefer the earlier pickups because of the superior tone. the are controlled by 1x Master volume, 2-volume, 2-tone knobs and a 3-way toggle switch. The 24.75" scale length neck has mother of pearl with abalone centers inlays and 20 medium jumbo frets with a slim C neck profile. The hardware is comprised of gold Grover rotomatic tuning machines, a bone nut, a compensated adjustable ebony bridge, with Guild’s highly Engraved gold Harp tailpiece with a 4-ply black/white pickguard and original Knurled black top hat knobs with “G” gold inserts.
