Professionally setup with regular 10 - 46 strings within the last year. Includes a very nice Gator TSA hardshell case and the original stock Fishman active humbucking pickup.
I've been selling off a large portion of my lefty guitar collection recently to help fund a home studio project. As a lefty player, I've become somewhat disenchanted over the years with the limited options available. As a result, I've slowly developed this compulsive habit of modifying almost every left-handed stringed instrument I get a hold of. It's become a bit of a hobby, I suppose you could say. This beautiful lefty Schecter Danskimo-6 is no exception. With this guitar in particular I wanted to do away with as many of the identifying signature parts as possible as I am not not a fan of the signature artist's music. No offense if you are, its just not my cup of tea. I bought the guitar because I really liked the purple sparkle finish and I was intrigued by the Evertune system. Turns out its not my cup of tea either... Nor was the active Fishman humbucking pickup, not for me at all. I did not like the sound of that thing so I replaced it with a Bare Knuckle Riff Raff pickup, but the Fishman is included in this sale. Unfortunately, I no longer have any of the other parts that were removed from this guitar. Please see the list of extras, modifications, and upgrades below. Obviously, I'm not expecting to make back all of the money I've invested into this instrument, but I do feel that the upgrades and modifications lift its overall value. As such, I am listing this instrument at slightly above used market value.
