Seasonal Content Reviewer Shift 1 - $16/hr (Reno)

compensation: $16/hour
employment type: part-time

As a Content Reviewer, you will have the opportunity to directly affect the products that Zazzle creates. The Content Reviewer will be responsible for reviewing user submitted designs to ensure they abide by Zazzle’s user agreement and content guidelines with a focus on copyrights, trademarks, and other forms of intellectual property rights. The Content Reviewer will also be responsible for validating all designs to confirm that they pass quality control checkpoints to ensure a positive experience while shopping at Zazzle and using Zazzle’s design tools.

Seasonal Shift 1 is Thursday-Monday 10:00am-2:00pm at a pay rate of $16/hour.

Approximate Seasonal end date is December 23rd.


Review, detect, and confirm designs that are copyrighted, trademarked, or protected by other forms of intellectual property rights.
Ensure that Zazzle does not offer or produce merchandise that is unauthorized or unlicensed.
Protect Zazzle’s brand and maker partners from unauthorized and inappropriate designs.
Resolve issues that pertain to violations of any content guidelines and to escalate difficult situations to team Leads and Supervisors if necessary for additional review.
Provide customers with high-quality designs by ensuring that all quality control standards are met during the review process.
Develop an understanding of all of Zazzle product offerings and customization tools.
Develop the ability to use design tools to create products, and have an understanding of Zazzle’s product and content offering.

0-2 years professional experience
Above average researching skills. Ability to use search engines, navigate internal/external web pages, and image search functions.
Must be highly knowledgeable of pop culture, celebrities or otherwise noteworthy figures from throughout history, media trends, religion, politics, etc.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve or escalate issues to a supervisor before they arise.
Understanding of copyrights, trademarks, and other forms of intellectual property rights.
Experience with licensing and merchandising.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Profound researching skills and ability to validate source of images.
Excellent computer skills; Must be proficient in MS Office.
Ability to learn swiftly and apply techniques in a valuable and productive manner.
Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure and demanding environment.
Essential for this person to have a professional demeanor and be able to make business decisions.
Ability to use electronic devices including but not limited to: computer, telephone, copy/fax machine, etc.
Must be a team player, have a can do attitude, and work well with others!

Skills Desired:

Ability to identify notable brands, current and past films, television shows, musical artists, and an overall knowledge of pop culture.
Strong researching skills with the ability to navigate internal and external programs.
Creative thinker, problem solving mind-set, with an eye for high quality designs.

Education requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent (Some college experience preferred)

Pre-employment drug testing and background check are required.
