This truck is located in Big Valley, California, about 70 miles north of Susanville.
This ad is just a feeler to get an idea if there might be any interest in the truck.
More details and more photos can be provided.
The one-dollar price is just a placeholder- we'll take offers to determine market value...
We bought this truck in 2010 as a parts truck for our other 1978 Ford (which we sold a couple years ago).
We have a Nevada title for the truck.
Here's what's MISSING:
Engine (it was a 351M V8)
Transmission (It had a 4-speed manual in it when we bought it, though I believe it was built with an automatic).
The front fenders and the grille are included, and can be seen leaning against the barn in some of the photos.
Though this is a "half ton" pickup, it was factory equipped with an eight-lug Dana 60 drive axle.
From what I've read, this was a "rule beater" truck, made to sell as a half-ton F150, which gave cheaper insurance, but with a GVWR JUST high enough to allow it to be sold with non-catalyst emissions controls.
The truck will obviously have to be towed.
It rolled well when it was stored under the carport in 2010, and the mismatched tires appear to still be holding air.
It's located on Susanville Road (A-2) in Big Valley.
You'll have to be willing to come get it yourself.
