condition: good
make / manufacturer: nissan
model name / number: xterra
I am selling my Xterra because I need upsizing.

The engine rebuild has about 1200 miles on it. It works great and is reliable.

I originally bough it to off-road: I tested it on 150 miles of dirt roads going east-west in the Mojave plus the highway round trip to get there. Stock it is a great vehicle for moderately difficult trails (see photo). The torsion bar suspension system is very compliant, and did very well, dirt, woops, sand, rocks, rain, sleet (yes we had snow/hail on the trail).

I bought it with a cracked head engine. I had a certified Nissan (and Ferrari!) mechanic look over the whole car, undo all the errors of the previous owners check the block and emission system. He installed a brand new remanufactured head. That costs quite a bit, but I wanted a very reliable vehicle for off-roading. I can pass on his info to the new owner.

It’s still stock suspensions, but the next step is to swap in a lift kit, to have a very solid off-road/trail vehicle.

I am upsizing to an Expedition, a possibly a less able car, because I want to sleep 2 people inside and a 3rd row to occasionally drive around 6 people.

Miles 190K, but rebuilt engine has ~ 1200.
Stereo with backup camera, pre-wired for a subwoofer.

Cosmetic issues: minor dings, center console latch, small driver seat tear, missing clamp for battery holder, missing the first aid kit pouch. (I am fixing those as time goes by when I come across the parts).
