Mission Statement and Skills
My mission is to obtain a position in Human Resources, Administration, or Office Management within an organization that is firmly rooted, values integrity and equality and has goals that align with the ever changing world.
The management skills that I bring to the table: Ability to navigate a variety of HRIS systems, payroll and benefits management. Employee recruitment, onboarding and orientation, training, file management, credentialing, scheduling, investigations, discipline, and employee progression planning. Workman’s comp, OSHA filing and reporting. Vast understanding of labor laws to ensure company and employee protection and support with labor board claims. Observe and adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations.

Plan and execute recruitment strategies for multiple positions such as LPN, s, RN’s, Licensed Therapists, Residential Staff, Supervisors, Cafeteria Staff, Maintenance, Educators, Transporters, etc. Ensure all onboarding, orientation, credentialling, required certifications and prior work histories completed. Use of NABS (Criminal history background check website), E-Verify, CANS, OIG and NV Exclusions checks are completed per state policy. Maintain employee files securely. Lead investigator for all employee conflicts. Manage and schedule a team of approximately 80 employees. Manage payroll, medical and APA benefits, evaluations, suspensions, discipline, terminations and conflict resolution. Worked with outside vendors, facilitated payment to vendors, and house accounts. First point of contact when entering the main office. Facilitate incoming calls. Accept applications, set up interviews. Ensure all new hire documents are completed per state and organization policy. Use of E-Verify, OIG and NV Exclusions to verify candidates background. Maintain all employee files securely. Event planning. Maintain all office equipment and supplies. Schedule all initial and ongoing training and certifications to ensure they do not expire: CPR, Med Administration, DMV Records, and annual orientation. Assist employees with technical or benefit related questions.
Laundry Attendant, Best Western Inn and Suites Fallon, NV 9/21-3/22
Assist housekeepers with removal of linens from unoccupied or stay over rooms. Launder linens quickly for a quick turnaround of room rental.
Self Employed, Residential and Commercial Cleaner 7/18-12/21
Maintained a client list of around 20 or so regularly from Fallon to the Lake Tahoe area. Cleaning objectives varied depending on the request, from whole house top to bottom or as simple as bathrooms and kitchen only. Managed a crew of three for maximum coverage, held safety meetings monthly, maintained my own payroll system. I sold my client list to another cleaning company shortly after I moved to Fallon.
