I am looking for a 2+ bdrm /1 1/2+ bath house for rent for me and my sister. We are looking for something long term. Hopefully our last move. I moved here from Oregon in Nov. to be with my sister and to help each other. She lives in Fallon, I live in Spanish Springs. She is divorcing her husband so, she needs to get a place asap. We are both elderly helping each other enjoy the rest of our lives together. We don't party, smoke, drink, or do drugs. We are both clean and quite. We both have excellent rental track records. We have never been evicted or had any court cases brought against us. We pay our rent on time every month. We are clean and we've never done damage to any place we lived. We always got our security deposit returned. We are respectful to people and their property. She has 1 small dog that's not going to be around much longer. The dog has never done any damage of any kind. He is an older dog so he's very well potty trained. She doesn't have a problem with pet deposit and or pet rent. I don't have any pets, I will not be getting any. We dont have the drama created by husbands, boyfriends or friends, we want to be happy lol. We are loners and enjoy spending time with each other. We don't argue or fight as we have learned how to solve our problems like adults should. We don't have a whole lot of time together and our hope is to spend as much time together as possible. We just want to live in the Same house together and enjoy life with as little drama as possible. We have a Section 8 Choice Voucher and there are no complaints against us. I have been sect.8 for about 10 years. Its one of the best things in my life. It allowed me to live alone. In 10 years, the Housing Authority never failed to pay 70% of my rent on the 1st of every month. Its very easy. All you need to do is let them know if you prefer the check mailed or automatic deposit. Also, I will need a couple weeks to transfer my voucher from Washoe County to the County I will be moving to. HUD's fair Market Rent 2026 depends on the area. Fallon is around $1500 and Fernley is around $1300. The Housing Authority is always willing to negotiate to assure that anyone on housing can get into a home asap. If you heard horror stories about housing tenants, I assure you we are not like that. And if you heard any negative gossip about HUD, I know it's not true. I'm sure the gossips is because of people breaking the rules or total, well you know. If you rent to us i can promise you that you won't regret it as you can relax and enjoy your investment without all the crap some people can bring into your life. We're not like that, we get it.
