2009 Keystone Cougar (model 316QBS) with Polar Package and 3 tip-outs. This spacious fifth wheel is designed for families, with a capacity to sleep up to 9. Parents...it's perfect for you as this unique/rare model is designed with a bunk loft for kids that can sleep 5, complete with futon and plenty of play space with tons of storage. Queen master bed (also tons of storage) is at the rear of trailer with custom memory foam mattress with down feather mattress pad. All windows have day/night cellular shades in perfect condition. The bathroom has shower (no tub) with sink separate from private toilet room. Kitchen has typical stove, oven, microwave, larger fridge and freezer, and a full pantry. The unique "den" design has massive sectional with recliner at one end. Dining tables easily set up side by side in front of the sectional to accomodate as many as 8 people. 32" TV (albeit, it came with the trailer so it's 10 years old), surround sound inside and out, antennae (for those who still use them), an air mattress hide-a-bed in the sectional, upgraded faucets all around. There is a pass-through from inside the trailer to lower storage compartment for ease of access. You will not find a cleaner interior in a used trailer. Carpets were regularly cleaned and upholstery is in like-new condition, and we have NEVER had a leak. The exterior has the Polar Package (an upgraded option) perfect for spring and fall camping, a pull out bike or accessory (generator) tray at the rear, multiple under-belly storage for large items. Manual awning, manual steps, manual rear scissor jacks, powered front jacks (not self leveling).
Having loved this trailer for 10 years, it is not without minor wear and tear: there is a tear in the linoleum in the kitchen floor (see photo) for which we taped with the intention of repairing but never got around to it. Additionally, the exterior graphics are worn/peeled on one side (see photo) which seems to be an issue with this model year in Cougars (despite that we kept it covered when not in use the entire time we have owned it). Lastly, one of the bunks awning window's open/close-mechanism is broken so the window doesn't seal tightly (we have screwed it shut in the past from the outside). All of these things can be repaired, so we have adjusted our asking price accordingly. Why are we selling you wonder? Our kids are grown and we simply don't use it anymore.
Items we purchased separately which we are INCLUDING in the asking price (which is basically everything you need to run the trailer):
-HITCH AND BRAND NEW RAILS (this is well over $1000 value)
-Fifth Wheel aluminum stabilizer tripod with storage bag
-Custom welded hitch for included hitch-mounted 4-bike rack
-Power cord adapters for 30 amp, new water hose
-A box of various RV odds and ends for small repairs like drawer latches or curtain holders
-We have an assortment of kitchen ware and small appliances we will gladly include at no charge
We have all operating manuals and CLEAR TITLE in hand - this unit is priced according to NADA guide, but reasonable offers will be considered. Sorry, but we will not carry a loan. TEXT ONLY.
