Business Development Specialist I
Local battery distributor looking for an energetic person to drive growth, build relationships, close deals, and provide our territory with quality service.
What You’ll Do
• Win new dealer accounts and grow existing accounts
• Prospect, qualify, and close new dealer accounts (ILD & NAC)
• Make 25+ in-person sales calls per week
• Travel regularly to build relationships and increase revenue
• Onboard and train new customers
• Track pipeline and activity in Salesforce
• Monitor pricing, profitability, and account performance
• Resolve customer issues and support collections
• Collaborate with internal teams
What You Bring
• 1–2 years of B2B (business to business)/outside sales experience (preferred)
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated with good time management
• Strong communication and customer focus
• Proficiency in Excel; Salesforce a plus
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Requirements
• Frequent travel
