Laptop Mate LLC, an e-recycler located in South Reno off of Longley Ln, is a growing electronics recycling and refurbishment company specializing in used laptops and computer equipment. We purchase large quantities of used and surplus devices, test them, refurbish working units, and recycle or part out defective equipment. Good parts are sold through eBay and our online store, while working systems are refurbished and prepared for resale.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Computer Tester to evaluate incoming laptops and other computer equipment. Most devices are used and may have hardware or software issues. Your main responsibility will be to inspect, test, identify problems, and prepare devices for the next stage of processing.
This is not primarily a repair position. Devices with major issues are usually disassembled for parts rather than repaired.
This is a great opportunity for someone loving electronics and looking to further expand knowledge and experience by working hands on with used and newest devices. This position requires basic computer knowledge and good manual skills.
