Immediate opening for a Instrumentation tech / Field Support on a mining-related project near Lovelock, Nevada.
This is a project-based opportunity at present and a strong chance to get involved early on a major mine project that is now ramping up and is expected to continue for many years.
This role offers hands-on learning and room for development. You will be supporting work around advanced communications, instrumentation, and extra low voltage (<25VDC) monitoring equipment in an industrial field setting.
Work includes field installation support, equipment setup, basic assembly, hand tools, site organization, and general field support.
Requirements:
- MSHA 24-hour training, or willingness to complete it before starting
- Immediate availability if already MSHA trained
- Dependable and safety-minded
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Basic hand-tool and mechanical experience preferred
- Basic Excel skills for reports and job tracking.
Ideal candidates are based in Lovelock or within about 1 hour of the site.
Competitive hourly pay. Transport can be provided from Elko, Reno etc if needed.
