Job Summary
Emissions Inspectors will conduct emissions testing on gas and diesel vehicles, pick up and deliver vehicles to fleet, dealer, and repair shops, and perform maintenance on emissions testing equipment
Responsibilities
Perform detailed emissions testing on a variety of vehicle types using specialized diagnostic equipment.
Inspect vehicle components related to emissions control systems, including catalytic converters, exhaust systems, and sensors.
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols during inspections.
Complete inspection reports promptly, ensuring all data is accurate and accessible for regulatory review.
Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of vehicle maintenance and automotive service quality.
Communicate with customers on emissions requirements and testing procedures.
Operate vehicles and heavy equipment safely.
Skills
Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and emission control components (Paid training provided).
Proficiency with hand tools, computers, and automotive repair equipment.
Experience in vehicle maintenance (personal or professional) is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during inspections or repairs.

Minimum Requirements
Must posses a valid drivers license
Must be qualified to receive an emissions inspector license (background check required, must be 18 years or older)
