Driver

The shift will be Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.  

Start time is 5:30 AM and runs until the route is complete, typically 8-10 hours per day.

Starting wage range will be $24 - $26/hour depending on experience and credentials. The pay range for this job cegory is $24-30/hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to safely opere a toilet truck or container delivery truck on specified routes.

• Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispcher.

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.

• Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, times with no helpers.

• Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-reled duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.

• Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts which require following basic safety precautions.

• The employee is exposed to outside weher, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibrion. Noise level is usually modere.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred. Willing to train drivers interested in getting their Class B.

• Clean driving record.

• Ability to read, write, comprehend and communice in English. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience th is directly reled to the duties and responsibilities specified.
