Duties
• Safely operate a range of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and flatbeds across regional routes
• Drive with precision on route schedules while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards
• Manage freight delivery documentation accurately and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
• Handle specialized cargo including refrigerated goods, or flatbed loads contents with care and attention to detail
• Maintain a clean driving record by practicing safe driving habits and reporting any vehicle issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of interior/exterior of truck
Qualifications
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers or freight delivery routes
• Comfortable operating various truck types such as flatbeds and reefers
• Experience with load & unload procedures and freight handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor vehicle issues
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance in all driving activities
