Job description
Hiring part-time dock worker. Looking for someone who has some experience in the LTL/freight industry. Must have some basic computer skills. Must have forklift experience and must know how to move trailers to and from the dock.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, morning shift starting at 05:00 to 11:00pm.
Job Responsibilities
As a Dockworker you will be responsible for:
Opening up warehouse and help setting up routes and load sheets for drivers.
Using pallet jacks and forklifts, loading and unloading of freight including shipments of Hazardous Materials.
Using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading and unloading freight into/from over-the-road equipment, containers and city trailers.
Ensure accurate freight inventory while unloading and on dock
**Moving trailers to and from dock and helping hook up equipment is required**
Making sure trailers, dock, dock aprons are tidy.
Looking for someone with good work ethics, efficient at their job and dependable.
Starting pay $20-22 per hour
