Vintage Kenmore 158.1730
All Metal Gears
Made In Japan
I would like to place this machine and cabinet with a person who can appreciate the craftsmanship of this model made in the 1970’s. Use for personal use and keep it out of the landfill.
If you can answer all the questions, I am requesting that you answer, then you can be the proud owner of a little piece of history.
1) What does it mean to set your tension, and why you would need to.
2) When you thread a sewing machine, why would you have thread bunching
in the bobbin? specify what you would need to check for.
3) What kind of stitch would you get if you had length 0-3 and width on zero.
4) What kind of stitch would you get if you had length on 12 and the width on 4.
5) Needles, why are there certain sizes and what do the sizes mean for the sewing
that will be done.
6) What part/accessory is a Class C?
7) Machines that have all Metal gears, how do you ensure they will always sew
well and smooth?
You can reply by craigslist email with answers, and I will contact you if you have the correct answers.
Again, I am looking for a good new owner, good home.
