The Order Packer is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role ensures orders are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick items from inventory based on order sheets or handheld scanners
Pack orders securely and correctly to prevent damage during transit
Label packages and prepare them for shipping
Verify order accuracy (items, quantities, and quality) before packing
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
Follow all health and safety procedures
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Requirements:
Previous warehouse or order picking/packing experience is an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of warehouse operations and scanning systems
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
